A position has arisen for a Production Line Leader working for a family owned business which grows high quality, award winning produce which is supplied to the major UK multiples and food manufacturers.
Reporting to the Head of Production, the purpose of your role will be to oversee the running of the production line and production team plus to lead, motivate and develop the production team whilst ensuring planned output requirements and quality standards are met.
In addition, you will ensure all health and safety guidelines are followed, review team performance regularly to identify areas for improvement, carry out QA checks, report any equipment defaults, ensure regular communication with the production team providing relevant information to carry out their role to the maximum effect plus contribute to the planning, organisation, operation and installation of all new processes and equipment within the factory.
We are seeking a committed and positive individual with previous supervisory / team leading experience from within a food production environment. You will be quality focused, have good numerical and analytical skills plus be results-orientated with a positive attitude to drive forward continuous improvement. A full UK valid driving licence is required due to rural location.
The Production Line Leader job is based in the South East region and is paying £9.50 per hour (equating to approximately £20,000 per annum). The shift pattern will be 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off.
