Electrical Maintenance Team Leader
Eden Scott’s client is a well-established manufacturing organisation based in Fife. Due to increasing growth and customer demand, an opportunity has now become available for an Electrical Maintenance Team Leader.
This is a shift based role. Dayshift/Backshift/Occasional NS
Responsibility for the safe working of all maintenance staff & contractors on shift.
Communicate business & departmental objectives & targets to the team.
Manage & coordinate all maintenance resources to deliver planned work while minimising machine breakdown down-time across the shift, in line with agreed targets.
Plan & issue work orders in line with business needs.
Drive & encourage team involvement in the development of the 6S initiative.
Facilitate the initiation of departmental CI projects, along with supporting the delivery of CI projects and initiatives throughout the business.
Liaise with contractors on health and safety matters & issue permits to work.
Carry out Department Audits
Understand and use company policies and procedures for managing people (time and attendance, disciplinary procedures, grievance procedures, etc).
Support all NPD activities.
Time Served (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
Be the primary Electrical Technical Expert for the plant.
Supervisory experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment
Build & develop the Electrical team’s technical capabilities through both in-house & external training.
Review complete electrical work orders with team members to drive quality & productivity.
Conduct New Equipment Electrical Acceptance tests where required.
