This well-known and global food manufacturer is looking for an engaging Continuous Improvement Manager to ensure optimal efficiency at the lowest cost against strategic lean objectives; quality, cost, delivery, safety and people. They are looking for a professional with excellent communication ability with natural people skills to support and influence a wide range of people.
Across the two food manufacturing sites you will support the teams with the delivery of the lean manufacturing vision and strategy through continuous improvement, ensuring optimum process control to deliver efficiency, effectiveness and profitability targets. You will initiate and implement change to meet the needs of the business through the identification and sharing of best practice through driving out waste, reducing variation and the ongoing development of a proactive improvement culture.
In order to be considered for the role you will have in depth practical experience of Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, 5S, Standardised Work, Problem Solving, VSM, TPM, SMED, Kaizen and OEE with evidence of how continuous improvement projects have delivered real sustainable results financially and behaviourally. You will come from a food manufacturing background and a 6 Sigma Black Belt is highly desirable.
