We’re looking for a Site General Manager, to join our leadership team based at our site in Atherstone, Warwickshire.

As Site General Manager, your key focus will be ensure that all functions deliver against objectives by contributing positively to the overall Business Unit and Divisional performance and above all that we exceed our customer expectations.

Main responsibilities

As Site General Manager, you will take the lead in translating the business strategy into a ‘live’ plan.

You will effectively co-ordinate all projects and initiatives within these areas, ensuring the projects are delivered on time and within budget.

You will support this by ensuring that our divisional strategy for safety, health and the environment is always at the top of your agenda.

You will ensure that we consistently deliver to the highest standards across all areas of the business focusing on driving improvements by designing and implementing robust continuous improvement plans deployed through lean six sigma to embed modern manufacturing techniques.

Overall, we are looking for you to be an inspirational leader able to build a strong manufacturing unit leadership team that deliver sustainable results.

You’ll bring this to life by focusing on your employees, ensuring they are engaged, focused and always delivering to their potential.

Ideal candidate

Of degree calibre, you’ll have a track record of delivering at a senior level, you will have manufacturing experience within FMCG.

You will be a strong leader with a high degree of tenacity, determination and persistence to ensure goals are met.

You’ll need to bring with you an understanding of lean six sigma so ideally we are looking for you to be Green Belt six sigma certified or be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge of manufacturing systems.
