This innovative and creative business is recruiting for a talented head chef for their growing team. The restaurant offers an all-day menu including salads, sandwiches, soups, and gluten/dairy free baked goods. They pride on sourcing ingredients from local organic suppliers and guiding customers towards a healthier lifestyle.
This is an ‘up market’ establishment and will be managing a small kitchen team who are motivated and hard working. With a passion for fresh food and a good eye for detail, you must have a motivating personality and work well under pressure. As Head chef you will be responsible for the production of the full menu offering, with the exception of the luxury handcrafted bakery products. You will also work closely with the development chef team to create new ideas for dishes and keep up to date with new trends. You must supervise and train more junior chefs in the kitchen, monitor stock for ingredients orders, and ensure quality & safety standards are met.
- Passion for food!
- Diploma or some culinary qualifications
- Good teamwork and communication skills – able to motivate!
- Able to work under pressure and to a deadline
- Understanding of food hygiene
