Salary: £22,000 - £25,000
Dreaming of that Monday-Friday role? Unheard of in the food industry right? It's rare, but it exists! If you're an experienced QA who loves their job, but looking to pack in the weekend work, I want to hear from you!
Don't be misled, however. Flexibility towards working hours will be required dependant on business needs, and the occasional weekend shift may be needed (but not often).
Working with modern facilities in a business that thrives on success, you will be in the heart of the Quality Department. You will be responsible for ensuring all products are produced to the correct standards. You will be required to work confidently and independently and be able to make decisions on your own.
A slightly bigger role than the standard QA, you will be actively involved in liaising with both Production and external customers to ensure any technical or quality issues or customer complaints are resolved effectively in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for making sure all Production staff are up to date on training of all quality procedures. You will also be involved in department meetings and customer visits.
Previous QA experience is required. This is a challenging role, so a thorough understanding of retailer standards, BRC and HACCP is essential.
If you feel like you're ready to take on this challenge, please contact Naomi on 01733 391 515 for a confidential chat.
