Brand Coordinator (Maternity contract)
Are you a food marketing whizz brimming with passion and looking to broaden your experience with a highly recognisable food brand? With a goal to delight consumers this established brand can be found on the shelves of the major UK retailers offering on trend products across a number of categories. They are now seeking a talented, media & PR savvy Brand Coordinator to take on a maternity cover contract starting in September 2018.
Reporting to the COO, you’ll be the brand guardian with responsibility for helping develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase brand awareness. You will be involved in planning and executing these with key stakeholders within the business as well as with external partners.
You’ll be involved with product development, packaging design, product launches and marketing of the food brand. This will be in collaboration with external manufacturing partners, design agencies and PR Managers.
As the day to day point of contact, you’ll plan and co-ordinate meetings as well as producing business performance reports with detailed analysis; you’ll also ensure all communication is accurate and be able to promote brand unity. In addition you will be contributing to the brand’s development strategies through marketing plans, PR and Social Media programmes.
We are looking for a passionate Food Marketing / Business graduate with similar brand management experience within the food industry, either for a food manufacturer, retailer or food brand.
You’ll have an excellent understanding of the food industry including aspects of product development in order to really make the most of new projects that will contribute to strengthening the brand. A strong commercial acumen along with experience in managing marketing activity and maximising business opportunities. You’ll also have great PR and Social Media expertise to help develop and coordinate live campaigns.
In addition, you must have first class communication skills, meticulous attention to detail and the natural ability to maintain solid working relationships with your key stakeholders.
