A significant client of ours presently seeks to appoint a Technical Support Manager to ensure the business meets audit standards, both via BRC as well as their major retailer customers.

Technical Support Manager  
Reporting to the Site Head of Technical this role will provide Technical Leadership and Technical Services to the Site Manufacturing operation to ensure that all finished goods fully comply with all Customer and Business Policies, Procedures, Product Standards, Manufacturing Specifications and the Quality Management system.    

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain and manage Quality Management and HACCP systems
  • Manage the technical services team and ensure team work to agreed timescales
  • Responsible for quality data auditing and analysis
  • Drive consumer complaint reduction
  • Maintaining full auditing system and leading on-site audits.

Key Attributes

  • Understanding of key audit standards and retailer COPs
  • A number of years experience in a technical office / technical services environment
  • Experiences supplying multiple major retailers
  • Have verifiable leadership and influencing skills at all functional levels
  • A food science related degree or equivalent
  • PC literate, with auditing, Food Safety, QMS and HACCP knowledge

This role will be ideal for someone who seeks to progress within a technical function, and could suit someone moving into a multi-responsibility role.
