This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an innovative team working for a leading manufacturer which continues to develop and grow by investing in people, new technology and state of the art machinery.
The purpose of the Business Development Executive is to identify and acquire prospective food processor, food service and catering accounts and to establish, maintain and develop them in line with group objectives.
You will grow sales year-on-year, develop new and innovative ways to sell company products, maintain loyalty from existing customers through regular visits, understand existing customer business requirements and communicate this to the management team, anticipate potential opportunities by researching the relevant markets, report on sales performance and customer trends plus liaise with NPD on new products and bespoke customer requests.
We are looking for bright, forward thinking and passionate individual with a proven track record selling to food processors with up to date familiarity with Scottish meat and fish processors including current points of contact. We are looking for the individual to reside in Scotland and to succeed you will have excellent communication skills, be highly organised and be customer focused. A full UK driving licence and the flexibility to undertake regular travel is essential and experience of working with food ingredients is a distinct benefit.
The Business Development Executive is a home based role covering the Scotland region and is paying £35,000 plus excellent benefits including company car, laptop, mobile phone pension and childcare vouchers. The working hours are Monday to Friday.
