Engineer - Nights
A new opportunity has arisen for a Multi-skilled Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Engineering Technician to join a cutting edge food manufacturer based in Hertfordshire.
This role calls for a truly multi-skilled engineer with a practical attitude, who has a strong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical principles and hands-on experience working in a fast paced environment.
Reporting directly into the engineering manager, your overall responsibility will be to optimise machine availability and ensure the plant is maintained in safe working condition.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include carrying out planned maintenance schedules, responding to breakdowns in a timely manner and assisting with continuous improvement projects when necessary.
The successful candidate will be qualified in a relevant engineering discipline and be able to communicate at all levels.
