Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager

The Company

They are currently experiencing significant growth with considerable investment going into all areas of the business and are seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager to work as part of a passionate team based at their West Midlands head office.

The Role

Reporting to the Director Of Regulatory Affairs, you will be responsible for providing expert regulatory advice and guidance on food and cosmetic formulations alongside supporting the Labelling team on the approval of new product manuscripts and artwork. You'll use your extensive knowledge to resolve any legislative issues and secure the best possible outcome for both the business and their customers, whilst ensuring that official EU standards and proposals are met.

Up to date with the latest regulation changes you’ll follow up on any issues, resolving areas of potential risk to guarantee only the best products for your customers. Additionally, you’ll also be managing the assessment of the suitability of ingredients, safeguarding conformance to company values and updating policies and procedures where required.

The Person

We’re looking for a confident, proactive and process driven Regulatory Affairs Manager with FMCG experience.  Ideally with a Food Science, Nutrition or Chemistry degree and proven success within the food manufacturing or retail sectors. Experience must include the interpretation and application of EU regulations plus knowledge of current EU nutrition labelling.  You must be highly adept at interpreting and applying regulations in the EU, being able to manage technical product information and handle nutritional data. 

You’ll been a team player with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work to tight deadlines whilst offering guidance and support to more junior members of the team. To really excel in this role you must be analytical, detailed and resourceful but also have amazing communication plus organisation skills.
