Multi Skilled Engineer / Food Manufacturing / Nottinghamshire

The Company:

Our client is a passionate and innovative company that specialises in cooked and raw ready-to-eat carbohydrates and vegetables. They supply these to customers that include leading chilled food manufacture, foodservice, retail and food-to-go operators.

The Role:

Our client is looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join their ever-growing team at their main facility near Nottingham. This is a hands-on job, therefore someone with a can-do attitude and practical experience working within a food manufacturing environment, is a must.

Due to the fast-paced nature of this job, reactive maintenance experience and flexibility is also key.

The chosen Multi-Skilled Engineer will be part of a wider engineering team - and given that this is a new role, there is the opportunity to negotiate your shift pattern, should you be successful.

Candidate specification:

If you are a newly qualified Engineer looking to kick start your career, then our client wants to hear from you. Whether you have FMCG experience or not, if you have a strong willingness to learn, this might just be the job for you.

You will be multi-skilled, preferably with an electrical bias however this is not essential. You also must have a minimum NVQ Level 2 Engineering, and ideally be qualified to City & Guilds or an equivalent in Engineering.
