A position has just become available working for an extremely passionate business which is dedicated to producing only the finest and highest quality products which are supplied to high end clients.

The job

The purpose of your role as Production Machine & Line Supervisor is to be responsible for a team of 15 Operatives where you will oversee the running of the production line, ensuring product is made to specification and in a safe and efficient manner, while complying with health & safety and food safety standards.

You will complete start up procedures, ensure all the items necessary to run the line operation efficiently are ready, ensure all records including weight checks are complete and compiled, make sauces and mixes according to recipes, manage priorities to ensure the components needed for the team are made on time and in the correct quantities, order ingredients to meet the production plan plus label and carry out stock rotation of goods.

Your experience

The role would suit an individual who has practical experience within food production who has been responsible for either depositor line, flow wrapper or cartoning machinery. Experience within desserts, pastry, or bakery would be an advantage. You will have high attention to detail, be experienced in supervising other members of staff and be committed to high quality standards.

The Production Machine & Line Supervisor job is based in London region and is paying £24,000 - £29,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday working either the early, late or day shift.
