The company

We are seeking a talented individual to work for a leading food service supplier producing a quality range of prepared products for restaurants and pubs throughout the UK.

The job

As Supply Chain, Planning & Purchasing Assistant, you will be managing aspects of the supply chain, assisting in all demand and supply planning, forecasting and stock control across a product portfolio of over 200 SKUs.

You will ensure that all purchase orders raised are within authorised and agreed sign off limits, place orders with suppliers and recording product, quantity, pricing and delivery information, manage inventory and stock levels, report weekly on the overall forecasting process, coordinate production plans for raw materials, carry out supply chain administration and update & maintain accurate cost and pricing.

Your experience

You will ideally be educated to a degree/HND level in a supply chain capacity, however essentially, you will have some purchasing or supply planning experience within food manufacturing. You will possess excellent computer literacy with strong Excel and data analysis skills, be able to communicate effectively with internal & external partners plus have strong attention to detail.
