Quality Manager

The function of the Quality Manager is to assist the Technical Manager in the duties below;

1. Management of Quality, Safety, Regulatory, Hygiene and Food Safety Issues to ensure that customer requirements are met.
2.  Maintenance of standards to BRC and/or other accreditations.     
3. Maintenance of HACCP and process control systems and all subsequent documentation..   
4. To help set site standards and internal audits..    
5. Identification of staff training needs and training of quality staff in quality procedures.        
6. Help review and develop quality systems in accordance with customer requirements.  Secondary contact at customer and third party audits.
7. To manage and direct any of the above as required to suitably trained Quality staff.

The Quality Manager is accountable to the Technical Manager.  When absent from work cover will be provided by a designated member of staff.  The designated deputy is the Technical Manager.
