Our client is a well-established chilled manufacturer who produce both own brand and retailer products which are supplied into the major UK multiples. With a brand-new manufacturing unit, the business has undergone rapid growth and success with more exciting expansion plans on the way.

The job

Your role as Interim Technical Consultant is to control, communicate and monitor all food safety legality and quality aspects, setting standards which surpass the needs and wants of the customers. You will manage quality assurance systems and procedures, monitoring adherence to set standards, manage the hygiene function defining methods, materials and schedules, define process development manufacturing methods, ensure that technical needs and wants are fully satisfied and that all audits are fully prepared for and any follow up actions are achieved within the required timescale.

Your experience

You will be a results orientated and driven individual, can demonstrate an understanding of operating integrity and have high standards for compliance and quality. You will have a strong technical management track record within food manufacturing and a background within fresh produce, agriculture or closely related sector is also essential.

More details

The Interim Technical Consultant job is based in Vietnam and is paying a negotiable day rate according to individual skills and previous experience. The role duration is 3-6 months and you must have the flexibility to work overseas for the duration of the contract.
