This is a great opportunity to work for an award winning, large chilled food group who supply own branded products into all the major retailers.
As a key member of a talented team, you will be directly contributing to the company vision - to inspire customers through excellence in quality food, innovation and integrity.
You will be responsible for ensuring all materials and ingredients are on hand to meet the production plan in accordance with inventory targets and space constraints. You will also manage availability during peak, seasonal and promotional activity, develop relationships with all suppliers, minimise the need for additional spend on urgent materials, promote stock accuracy and challenge the status quo.
To be considered for the Senior Materials Planner job, you will be an experienced planner or similar from within food manufacturing. You will have experience managing multiple ingredients and supplier base and preferably fresh, short shelf life ingredients. You will also have excellent knowledge of MRP process, be a great communicator, have a proactive approach plus be IT literate with knowledge of ERP systems and Excel.
The Senior Materials Planner job is based in the West Midlands region and is paying £23,000 - £28,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus excellent benefits including company pension, 33 days holiday, childcare vouchers, discounted staff shop plus formal and informal learning and development opportunities.
