Job Details
Are you an experienced Health and Safety professional with experience within the food manufacturing industry? Would you want to work for one of the top manufacturers in the UK? If so, then you may be the fresh talent our client is seeking!
Reporting into the Health, Safety and Environment officer, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Develop rapport with teams within and outside of the business; strong communication skills are essential
* Provide advice to the management team on Health, Safety and Environment issues and have an active influence regarding all issues
* Train and assist with all risk assessments, surveys, inspections and audits
* Design and administer safety awareness programmes
* Deputise for manager when required
* Administrative tasks; prior experience producing H&S reports is required for this role
It is essential that as the successful candidate you have previous experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
The client are incredibly vigilant in their approach to health and safety and you will need to have the capacity to make difficult and complex decisions.
