Salary - £55,000-£60,000

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Engineering Manager to join an established company within the food and beverage sector.

As Engineering Manager you will lead, motivate and develop the engineering team. You will use your operational and financial understanding of budget control to manage the engineering budget against agreed KPI's. You will work with the Factory Manager to identify opportunities for reducing spend and targeting overhead reduction opportunities.
You will seek to improve the planned maintenance system to deliver high-level line performance and achievement of World Class Site OEE. You will seek to promote a Continuous Improvement philosophy. IN addition to this you will assume responsibility for the management of buildings and services on site

The ideal candidate for this position will be educated to HNC or degree level in a relevant Engineering discipline and be able to demonstrate knowledge of world class management techniques e.g. Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, TPM.
You must be able to evidence successful implementation of capital projects and demonstrated project management skills.
Experience of line management at departmental head and of the fast moving consumer goods market (FMCG) is essential.
