NPD Technologist
Are you an NPD Technologist within the Food Manufacturing/retail sector, able to develop a pipeline of innovative new products and are you looking for your next challenge? My client, part of a fast paced and rapidly growing group, is looking for you.
Location: Surrey
Salary: Up to £35K DOE + package
The Candidate:
- Are you degree qualified with 2+ years' experience as an NPD technologist within the food manufacturing/food retail industry?
- Can you manage projects from concept through to launch?
- Do you have experience of working with third party suppliers and manufacturers?
- Can you display excellent problem solving, organisational and prioritisation skills?
- Are you prepared to travel within a role?
The Role:
- The role of the NPD Team is to ensure that the company develops a pipeline of new products and new ideas that have followed our NPD process and that have been fully validated by consumer research and operational testing.
- Our aim is to build our pipeline between 18 months to 2 years ahead.
- Culinary expertise and product creativity are essential to the role, as is the management of the NPD process and tracking of multiple projects.
- The role is very hands on and the ability to work as part of cross functional team and be a self-starter is essential with this role.
