Job Details
Production Manager required for a highly automated, modern food manufacturing facility in the South Yorkshire area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business and have a meaningful influence on the way the production teams operate at this modern manufacturing site. Part of a wider international food group undergoing a period of change, the role of the Production Manager is to deliver improved performance in areas such as line performance, labour, safety, quality and cost.
Having been to the site and seen it in action, it is an impressive facility with a very well laid out and efficient manufacturing process. Products move through all stages of production, from mixing, forming, proving, baking, chilling and to packing on one continuous system meaning a high volume of product can be manufactured to a very high standard. They supply most of the major retails with both branded and own label products as well as top level food service companies.

This would be a great opportunity for an existing Production Manager to take on a role in a modern high volume facility or a Production Supervisor looking for a step up. Experience with automation and delivering incremental improvements in a high volume production environment will help.
