Bakery has had a huge spike in popularity over the past years thanks to Bake Off hitting our screens. Unfortunately, this has only really influenced people to try their hand at home baking, the food industry is still short of good calibre professionals and certainly something needs to be done since we have an ever-growing population. This role is for a college that is looking at opening a brand new food & drink facility on site and teaching food courses for the first time, to try and inspire young people to become the food industry professionals of the future.

There is some good money to be earned in education, don't get me wrong, but compared to the food industry it will not be able to compete at the top level. Either way, if you have experience in food manufacturing (Technical, Production or Development) or academia (Study or Teaching) in Bakery then this could be the opportunity for you.
