Key Accountabilities 

A pivotal role within this business to act as the office-based, business support contact for the Global Key Account team.  This role involves managing requests, activities and commercial programmes.  Ensure support, communication and facilitation is clearly provided, in a timely manner, to the teams (both internal and external) for which this role is a high dependency and very important for the business.  Managing client contact via e-mail, telephone and, when required, in person in order to action and follow-up requests for samples, pricing, specifications and other necessary information.  Producing monthly reports on sales, budgets, forecasts and pricing for both regional / global markets.  Supporting the Global Key Account team, including management of travel and diaries, along with setting up telephone and video conferences.

Personal Profile 

• At least A’ level qualified, degree preferable

• Proven work experience with national / international accounts in sales, marketing, category management 

• Excellent communication skills including diplomacy, and the capacity to convey information clearly and concisely 

• Good organisation skills and the ability to plan workload to achieve tight deadlines

• The flexibility and ability to work under pressure within a team environment

• Previous work experience and understanding of global clients preferred 

• At least a basic knowledge of the food and flavours industry, technical background preferred

• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of market research and data sources

• Ability to use own initiative, as work well as part of a team 

• PC literate – Microsoft (advanced Excel preferable) and SAP

• Flexibility is required, as this role will involve some travel, both within the UK and internationally
