Flexible and good hours in the food industry and in technical don't come along very often.

A food manufacturing site based in Wiltshire are looking for technical support to add to their technical team with a new role of technical support. The hours are flexible when not in audit season and can have the flexibility to fit around your life.
As the technical support you will be reporting to the technical manager supporting her with all aspects of technical to ensure the standards of products on site. Working predominately in an office based role you will be developing and managing paperwork for the technical systems for audits. Including supplier approval and managing internal paper work. In addition to the technical aspect you will be assisting with the technical side of NPD. Managing the customer specifications from concept to the launch. In this NPD side you will be an integral part of the factory team helping to scale up new products.

Why this role? You will be working for a well-known name in the food industry creating tasty products which are seen on the supermarket shelves. The role has flexibility in hours which could work around school pick-up/drop off. It also a newly created role where you will get to be involved in NPD and technical.
We are looking for people with a background in the food manufacturing industry, ideally within a role such as technical assistant, food technologist. Ideally a degree in a food related degree or a proven track record of working on technical paperwork for UK audits, retailer and/or BRC.
