Technical Administrator (Contract until end of Jan 2019)

A new position has become available, working for one of the top 10 companies, of its kind, in the world. A Technical Administrator is required on an initial 6 month contract to join their team and be responsible for assuring technical services and to verify the Food Safety Standards of the company.

Your main duties will include:

• Creating specifications and safety data information as requested by Samples Department on a daily basis.
• Daily work to be taken from the Technical Enquiry system and prioritised accordingly, from Samples Department list.
• Checking the Product Live Management system to ensure that all data is present to enable the above tasks to be carried out.
• If required, contacting Suppliers to obtain documentation for raw materials.  For example; but not limited to: safety data sheets, allergen information, specifications, kosher and halal certificates.
• Communication with suppliers mainly via email but may require contact via telephone in order to receive what is requested in a timely fashion.
• Storing the relevant documentation received from suppliers in the correct location on the network drives.
• Other general administrative duties may be required if deemed necessary where training will be given.
