Production Manager

Fantastically British products…Are you looking for your next role within production? This family run, well established business is looking for a production manager to join their team.

If you have a background within an FMCG environment and experience of working within at least a supervisory role, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you to progress your career.

Reporting to the general manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that relevant schedules and deadlines are adhered to and communicated across the business, promote high health and safety and hygiene standards, motivate the team maximise production efficiency and adopt a lean attitude to minimise wastage.

The ideal candidate should have experience of working in the food industry as well as at least 3 years' experience of managing a team. You should be strong willed and able to make quick decisions in an ever changing, fast paced environment and be confident in your approach. Continuous improvement experience would also be desired but not essential.
