The Role

The purpose of this role is to manage within your category, all aspects of your products including identifying areas for the growth of the brand, and the quality of the products. You will also assess supplier performance and ensure the safety and legality of the products. There is a close link with the NPD and supply chain teams, as well as other internal partners to ensure that high quality products are consistently being delivered to consumers who expect the freshest, tastiest and safest food.  You’ll be responsible for evaluations and recommendations relating to proposed new products, and driving the agenda for sustainability and waste management. 

Personal Profile

• Food Science/technology degree
• Previous experience in a technical and npd either in retail or supply base
• Commercially aware and confident
• Working knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety and hygiene regulations
• Flexible to travel
