Production Coordinators - 12months FTC
Pod Talent are excited to be partnering with a global FMCG business to help them with their factory expansion. They are now looking for 3 Production Coordinators - 12 FTC with the possibility to go perm, for their manufacturing, based in Kent.
Production Coordinator
The Production coordinator will effectively manage the weekly plan and supporting systems to support the production operation on a real time basis. As the Production Coordinator you will help optimise the production efficiency through schedule management, whilst maintaining Inventory, NPD and Service targets.
Key responsibilities for the role:
- Responsible for co-ordinating logistics activities and manage the weekly plan linked to recordable KPI's
- Prevent, investigate and solve flow issues associated with the weekly plan
- Responsible for all system aspects of material movement activities on shift
- Responsible for production order management in SAP
- Responsible for addressing SAP related issues which affect stocks - specifically COGI
- Supporting the introduction of new scheduling systems into the workplace, including co-ordination of documentation & training.
- Identify and resolve conflicts with critical material shortages
- Track Schedule adherence and create action plans to improve
- Support production teams with schedule and material management to enable ongoing production in the event that quality issues prevent completion of the production schedule out of hours.
Required Qualifications or Experience:
- Previous experience of working within a FMCG environment, with planning/production/scheduling interactions
- IT/ERP systems (OMP+, SAP, JDA, Excel)
- Knowledge of OMP planning processes and production order management in SAP
- Highly Analytical
- Strong communicator
- Understanding of production planning, material supply and NPD processes
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of all site material flows and cell capabilities.
- Excellent understanding of Supply Chain, logistics and distribution network operating principles
Available Shifts
Weekdays: Nights + weekend rota 1/6
Weekdays: Days - Early/Late + weekend rota 1/6
