Group Engineering Manager

As Chief Engineer / Group Engineering Manager / Head of Engineering you will be responsible for 3 complex manufacturing sites whilst reporting to the Divisional Managing Director. Within this challenging role you will have a level of autonomy and an opportunity to make a significant difference to identify and drive the necessary cultural and process changes to deliver the long term Engineering strategy.

Not only are you going to know Engineering, Manufacturing and Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques but you're going to have to be a natural charismatic leader who can manage the challenge of managing different cultures across the different sites. You will need to be able to quickly engage the team and develop a strong managerial structure underneath you to manage the day to day whilst you take a more holistic view and focus on strategy.

Coming from within a manufacturing environment, the ideal candidate will be of a 'can do attitude' who is able to communicate effectively at all levels. You will be an ambitious person who enjoys taking on challenges and responsibilities and wanting to play a key part in a strong, dynamic management team. A charismatic individual you will have an empowering and engaging management style and have track record of succeeding through your team.
