QC Supervisor - Fruit
Kent
£22,000 - £25,000
Do you have previous management experience? Do you enjoy looking after a team? Have you got experience of working in a food environment either in a factory, packhouse or warehouse with fruit?
The main responsibilities of the role will be to:
* Ensure that all arrivals are inspected as per the relevant intake protocol
* Ensure that all aspects of product quality are accurately reported to the customers and business
* Ensure that any temperature abuse, contamination (foreign bodies, odours) or other issues that affect product quality are immediately reported to the customer.
* Effectively communicate and work with customer product managers.
The Ideal candidate will:
- Have a HACCP qualification
- Demonstrate a good knowledge of Allergens
- Have previously worked with a variety of fruit and be confident in fruit checking
