Multi-skilled Engineer - Days
We have a unique opportunity for a Multi-skilled Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Engineering Technician to join a market-leading business based in South Lincolnshire.
The Business
A highly competitive food manufacturer, who pride themselves on customer satisfaction, product innovation and building strong relations within.
The Role
Above all else, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the plant through both planned and reactive maintenance.
Key Accountabilities:
*To ensure plant is maintained in safe working condition, to legal and environmental standards.
*To deliver planned maintenance programme as scheduled.
*To minimise downtime by reacting to breakdowns in an efficient and timely manner.
*To suggest and trial new technologies to continuously improve the plant.
*To maintain effective communication between engineering and other departments.
The Ideal Candidate
You will be an existing multi-skilled engineer with recent food experience who is able to work as part of a team and off your own initiative.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
*Qualified to City and Guilds or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline.
*Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding / repair ability.
*Experience delivering and logging a planned maintenance schedule.
*Display a positive attitude towards change.
