HR & Training Coordinator - Human Resources

My client is a growing, well established and award-winning food manufacturing business. We are looking for a HR & Training Coordinator to provide HR and training support across the business.

The Role:

• Support the HRBP with HR processes in Operational areas including recruitment, requests/changes, absence management and discipline/grievance cases.
• Work with senior HR colleagues and Operational teams to develop and implement a people strategy which supports the company vision and values and engages staff.
• Take ownership of administrative tasks within the HR and Training functions, including maintenance of HR and Training Systems, and following department protocols.
• Coordinate all mandatory training activity, including issuing training licences, providing data and reminders to Managers, supporting learners and system updates upon completion.
• Coordinate and occasionally facilitate training activities to achieve skills, compliance and flexibility requirements, working closely with operational leaders to ensure their own training capability.
• Support operational teams with the formatting of Work Instructions and SOP’s, ensuring documents are formatted and controlled in line with internal and customer requirements and stored in an accessible manner.
• Coordinate annual performance reviews check ins, including providing appropriate data to departments and recording completed sessions.
• Produce, analyse, and distribute real time management information, highlighting patterns and trends to enable robust business decisions. Areas of focus to include; training and mandatory skills compliance, absence % and procedure compliance, pay banding progress.

To succeed in this challenging, people focused business, you will:

• Have a minimum of twelve months experience working within a manufacturing HR role.
• Have a Degree or of graduate calibre and ideally CIPD accreditation.
• Be flexible and adaptable in your approach and exhibit a positive attitude.
• Good IT skills with experience of using HR software packages.
