The job

As Technical Administration Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the legislation team in general administrative activities across two manufacturing units.

You will create specifications and safety data information as requested, check the product management system to ensure that all data is present and contact suppliers to obtain documentation for raw materials as required e.g. safety data sheets, allergen information, specifications, kosher and halal certificates.

Your experience

To be considered for the Technical Administration Assistant job, you will ideally be degree educated in a food science / technology or related discipline and possess previous technical experience from within the food industry. Working knowledge of product specifications would be desirable, although training will be given. You will be highly organised, have a good telephone manner and communication skills plus be computer literate including Excel.

The Technical Administration Assistant job is based in the East Midlands region and is paying £25,000 pro rata. This is a contract position with a duration of 4-6 months.
