The job

Working in a newly built, modern manufacturing facility, the purpose of the Electrical Engineer is to provide support to the Engineering Manager, plan preventative maintenance across multiple production sites, organise emergency repairs and make recommendations on production improvements whilst maximising production at all sites and minimising downtime.

You will respond to equipment breakdowns, identify root cause and solutions, be responsible for equipment calibration and carry out design and mechanical installation of new plant and equipment.

Your experience

To be considered for the Electrical Engineer job, you will be educated to a degree/HND/BTEC level within an engineering capacity plus be an experienced Electrical Engineer within a manufacturing environment. Experience of working in food manufacturing will be a distinct benefit. You will be self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills plus have the ability to be flexible with regards to location and shift pattern. As this is a multi-sited role, a full UK valid driving licence is essential.

The Electrical Engineer’s job is based in the Yorkshire region and is paying £22,000 - £25,000 according to individual skills and previous experience plus additional overtime, on-call and call out pay.

The shifts are 6am – 4pm, 12pm – 10pm and 8am – 6pm, to be confirmed.
