Maintenance Engineer

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to work at our Grantown-on-Spey site. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and repair of site equipment. This role is a stand alone role responsible for all engineering works and maintenance on site, and therefore requires the successful candidate to be hands on.

Key responsibilities of the role include, but not exclusively:

• Ensuring all equipment is kept in operational order at all times, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing and general joinery/metal work
• Ordering of spare parts where required, being fully aware of critical spares and costs associated with stocks
• Create and maintain full PPM system for the site, and implement as per health and safety, customer and regulatory requirements
• Contact and liaise with any contractors on site, ensuring they comply with site regulations
• Investigation of refrigeration issues, and call in relevant contractors where required to repair
• Attend call outs due to fire alarms/intruder alarms
• Actively liaise with customer site visits/audits to provide clear account of work carried out on site

The ideal candidate will:

• Be time served in an engineering discipline
• Minimum 3 years experience in FMCG environment
• Demonstrate a hands on approach
• Be flexible to suit business demands
• Have strong interpersonal skills and be self driven
• Have knowledge/experience of cost control
