It’s an exciting time for our Customer Collaboration Team. Always looking to enhance our ways of working, we have a number of new Manager and Executive opportunities, all on an initial 12 month FTC basis. 

Take a look in your fridge or kitchen cupboards and chances are you’ll come across some PepsiCo products. Whether it’s fresh Tropicana juice, hearty Quaker oats, or tasty Walkers crisps, our products are true family favourites and our customers always expect to find them readily available on the shelves. Our retail and wholesale partners expect the same and this is all made possible by the hard work of our Central Supply Chain team.

As part of the Customer Collaboration Team, it’ll be your responsibility to drive consistent delivery of 98.5% service into one of the UK’s top four Grocery customers. You’ll produce timely and accurate demand forecasts that will drive our supply planning process and manage the supply chain relationship with all key stakeholders whilst being the ‘Customer’ supply champion within PepsiCo UK.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working alongside our Commercial and Finance teams, you’ll generate the best possible demand forecast for your customer.
  • Ensure that this demand forecast is input to our planning IT systems.
  • Monitor actual orders against your demand forecast, speedily investigate significant variances and amend your demand forecast appropriately.
  • Be the face of PepsiCo UK Supply Chain to your customer and own the service level into their depots.
  • In addition to your customer-specific work, you will own a variety of other projects on behalf of the UK Collaboration Team. This could include certain sales events, new product development launches, system enhancements and process reviews.
  • Act as the Senior Collaborations Manager’s deputy when required.
  • Provide our Supply Chain Teams with timely analysis, guidance, information, and decision-making to ensure that the PepsiCo UK Supply Chain is in the best position to deliver against your demand plan.
  • Demonstrate high personal integrity to develop / manage the customer relationship so that we are recognised by them as a best practice supplier.

Qualifications/experience required:

  • Previous experience of working in a similar Demand Planning or Forecasting role in an FMCG/fast paced environment.
  • Past experience of working alongside one of the UK's biggest grocery customers (Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury etc)
  • Able to achieve of results in a fast-moving environment, where you can demonstrate a strong self-starting ability and persistent will-to-win.
  • Experience of working cross-functionally at an operational level, with the ability to influence all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong examples of relationship building and creation of collaborative, customer-focused plans.
  • Good understanding and use of IT systems; database and JDA, Manugistics or IMI experience would be particularly relevant.
  • Able to identify connections in data, events and trends.
  • Must be able to make the right short-term decisions without sacrificing long-term context and results.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Strong coaching skills and previous people management experience.
