As a Lean Co-ordinator, you will be part of a team that facilitates the design and implementation of the site Lean Manufacturing System. This will incorporate many lean tools and philosophies aligned to central lean governance. Classroom lean based training and on the job coaching will be a key element of the role and the development of the employees/site as a whole. Embedding Continuous improvement throughout all functions making it "self-igniting and sustaining" will be a key objective.


Reporting in to the Production, Technology and Development (PTD) Manager, the Lean Co-ordinator will assist in the delivery of the tactical implementation plan by conducting cross functional workshops, extensive analysis of various performance data in order to establish the potential for optimisation and support the site to realise it Continuous Improvement targets. As the coordinator, you will also assist with the preparation of presentations and training material to be used by your colleagues.


In addition, you will also assist in supporting the implementation of all New Product Development (NPD) initiates at the site, across all functions.

You are
The successful candidate will understand the principles of lean manufacturing and have experience of working in a similar role. You will be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills and possess energy and excellent communication skills. You will be highly organised and able to manage your own agenda and be an advanced user of MS Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge and experience of project management and working within a food manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
