An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a large reputable food manufacturing company who are have a requirement for an Logistics Planner at their CDC in Anwick.

Job Role

You will be working alongside an Operations Manager and Logistics Analyst at their off site CDC Operation, which will include liaising with their six other sites and the 3PL operator.  You will be dealing with stock queries, creating KPI’s as well as creating and circulating daily transport pallet call over requirements.

Duties include creating and maintaining an accurate daily transport plan to the highest standards in both service and cost, liaising with transport partners to ensure all routes have been successfully completed.

Create and provide accurate daily KPI information for delivery on-time reports, pallet call-over analysis, the haulier performance information, pick accuracy and also inbound load analysis.

Dealing with any ad-hoc requests such as collection of empty trays, returns, assisting colleagues in the transport operations will also be required.

Provide support when required for CDC Logistics Analyst and CDC Operations Manager

Responsibilities

  • Work with CDC to increase successful deliveries
  • Organise specials as and when placed
  • Work closely with Invoicing Team and provide POD’s
  • Create daily information for all hauliers together with CDC Co-Ordinators
  • Create and record daily KPI information on all deliveries
  • Resolve any daily logistics issues together with hauliers
  • Create and circulate various system reports daily
  • Provide cover during sickness / holidays if and when required
  • Provide out of hours cover if required to the CDC operation
  • Help with other office duties if and when required
