Our client is already a well-established manufacturer of bespoke products, providing products to the food manufacturing industry worldwide. The company manufactures ambient products and have grown consistently year on year. They are expecting fast growth in the coming years and require a strong, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to support this. The business prioritises quality over mass production and seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to maintain and improve the current gold standards.
As a Maintenance Engineer, the purpose of your role is to service and repair production and packing machine equipment efficiently and effectively as well as undertaking day to day site maintenance tasks working as part of a flexible and customer focused team.
You’ll be an excellent communicator who uses their expertise to secure the confidence of both the internal and external stakeholders that you work with. You’ll be a time served apprentice with formal qualifications at level 3 C&G or NVQ equivalent in an electrical discipline. You’ll be up to speed with current IEE regulations (17th edition) and have experience in working in industrial or commercial environments. You’ll be a self-starter, able to work autonomously and as a valued member of the team to diagnose and repair faults, interpret and create P&ID / wiring diagrams, electrical drawings and schematics and be an effective co-ordinator of onsite contractor works.
