Leading single site and looking for an opportunity to move to a multi-site?
Kent has an abundance of Fresh produce companies, yet are you looking to work with premium product not in the fresh produce industry (they definitely aren't as healthy).
The company are a leading manufacturer of some of the nicest products you will see on the supermarket shelves. They have created a great name in the food industry and due to this they have seen significant growth over recent years and show no signs of slowing down. Reporting to the operations and technical director you will be leading a couple of smaller sites around the Kent area. As the technical manager you will be managing supplier's co-ordinating supplier audits, reviewing their performance in line with targets to reduce complaints. Championing site standards you will be the go to person for technical questions and issues.
Aside from the technical side you will be leading a small team that work across the sites. Being an ambitious company they have ambitious staff and have a proven track record of developing staff internally and setting them up for big roles with retailers. It will also be your job to help develop, coach and manage your team.
Why this company? As mentioned they are growing rapidly, create lovely products and work within the major retailers. It is also a great opportunity if you are working in a single site capacity and looking to step to a multi-site role with support of a director.
We are looking for experienced technical staff with experience in the food manufacturing industry, ideally chilled, high care or high risk. Knowledge of retailer standards would be preferred and ideally you can demonstrate a proven track record of developing staff.
