One of the UK's leading retailers is looking to take on a Food Technical Assistant / Quality Assurance Assistant on a 12 months FTC, to play a key role in supporting both the Quality and Technical teams. The Job:

As Quality Assurance Assistant, it would be your job to actively manage areas such as food product safety, legal compliance and ensuring that agreed quality standards are met.
You will also have the opportunity to push forward continuous improvements and implement best practise for the business.
You will assist in the development and maintenance of quality systems for the business.
You will be involved with project work and be fully responsible for seeing them through from beginning to end.

The Candidate:

In order to become Quality Assurance Assistant, you will have at least three years' experience in the food industry in either a technical or quality role.
You will have sound knowledge of HACCP, risk assessment and project management.
You will be a creative thinker and have a natural flair for problem solving.
You will be resilient, tenacious and take pride in your work.
