Technical Manager

Eden Scott are delighted to be working with an innovative FMCG organisation and be supporting them on the recruitment of a Technical Manager.

This is a new and exciting opportunity with an innovative FMCG company who supply to UK, European and International markets. We are looking to recruit an individual who has a strong passion for food innovation and who is looking to expand their Technical knowledge and skills whilst ensuring that all products manufactured by the company meet the safety, quality and legal requirements.

As Technical Manager you will report to the General Manager/ CEO and be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining site HACCP plan and QMS
• Conduct Internal, Customer and 3^rd party audits
• Maintain Technical Documentation
• Provide Technical support on all Compliance & Legislation
• Conduct Traceability exercises
• Investigate Customer Complaints
• Liaise and occasionally assist with production
• Advise on general housekeeping, hygiene and food handling practices
• Labelling Verification
• Lead New Product Development including the research, analysis and scalability

The Candidate:

• Inquisitive with strong planning and organization skills
• Excellent decision making & problem-solving skills
• Ability to be flexible to meet business needs
• Hand’s on with excellent interpersonal & communication skills

Experience/ Qualifications:

• Degree qualified
• Previous experience within an FMCG organization
• Knowledge of HACCP, BRC and retail audit requirements
• Knowledge of food legislation standards
