The role
Unique opportunity to join an International Group who are leaders in their field and are globally recognised as one of the best. The objective of this role is to support all customers in the Dairy sector
The right candidate will have a deep understanding of the needs of livestock farmers when it comes to forage and soil/fertilisation. He/she will be able to translate the technical aspects of analysis into practical and understandable advice for the customer.
As Product Manager, you will take ownership of all business development activities within the UK dairy market (including sales & marketing and product development). You will drive growth in sales through higher market shares and delivery of value added analysis to customers.
You will be responsible for overseeing the entire process, from sample submission to reporting. You will take responsibility for co-ordinating the laboratory and customer support functions, to ensure customers receive excellent service.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will hold a degree with a significant agricultural component. He/she will already have several years of experience in the dairy market, and have strong commercial insight.
Thanks to his/her deep knowledge and extensive network, the product manager will be an expert discussion partner for livestock farmers, industry organisations, feed companies, trade and scientific researchers.
Good communications skills are essential for this position. You will be expected to maintain effective contact with a wide range of people. You must be comfortable giving presentations.
The suitable candidate will be naturally pro-active, and happy taking responsibility for formulating and maintaining his/her own path
