Our client is a highly regarded manufacturer of household products which they supply across the UK and internationally. With a long standing tradition in their area for pursuing quality and excellence in product, process and people, they stand out as an employer of choice. Due to progression within their team, they seek a skilled and experienced Engineering Manager or functional leader to join them.

The key responsibilities of this role will be the leadership of the site engineering function, strategic direction for an engineering department of approximately 60 personnel, and collaboration for the overall company strategy, as well as effective engineering deployment of skills, time and capital.

Key Accountabilities

• Leadership of the site engineering function Budgetary responsibility for day to day deployment and capital investment Strategic involvement in company progression Effective delegation of sectional management to reports and team leaders Development of existing team member, and new appointments

• Extensive demonstrable experience of successful engineering departmental leadership Effective functional leader, and business leadership collaborator Expertise in strategic direction Capital project deployment experience Degree or equivalent in an engineering capacity
