About our Client:

We are working with a leading fresh produce business supplying major retailers with top quality fresh produce, this is an expanding business therefore they are looking to recruit a Technologist to join the Technical team, reporting into an Account Technical Manager.

About the Role:

This role is a Technologist / Product Manager position, where you will develop and maintain customer relationship while driving the technical side of the business. You will be responsible for quality and customer throughout the end to end supply chain, you will work closely with the Procurement teams and be involved in category sourcing to ensure 100% availability. You will help develop innovation through variety development, packaging, and offer solutions to the business.

The Ideal Candidate:

For this role you will be currently working in a Product Manager / Technologist role within a fresh produce business, ability to speak a 2nd language would be beneficial.

Minimum Requirements:

For this opportunity you must have excellent technical experience and general knowledge on fruit quality within a fresh produce business. Good commercial awareness and the ability to make decisions within a fast paced business.

Salary:

£25k - £30k
25 days holiday + bank holiday
Monday - Friday 8am - 5 pm
