Job Details
We are recruiting for a Head of New Product Development role for a branded food business based in central London. Due to a period of sustained growth and some ambitious plans for expansion, this exciting role has been created to lead a growing development team.
The Head of NPD will be responsible for leading a team of NPD Managers and driving the development strategy for the business. You will play a key role in delivering multiple product launches across various categories and will work closely with commercial and procurement teams. This is a senior role reporting directly to the MD and would suit a bright, ambitious individual looking to progress their career within a forward thinking organisation.
The successful Head of NPD will possess the following skills & experiences:
- Degree educated in a Food Science or related discipline
- Strong commercial awareness and the ability to work strategically
- Extensive experience of leading development teams in the food industry, ideally branded
- A real foodie with a passion for innovation, and a proven track record of launching innovative products in the food industry
- Experience of leading small teams and working in a fast-paced environment
