I have taken a role from a major blue chip food manufacturer, looking for an experienced HR professional that can complete a three to six month assignment. Firstly, you will take control of the existing HR team with five direct reports. The main remit however, is to implement a brand new HR strategy, that is currently in its infancy and requires further input and development. That's where the challenge really lies. This strategy is key to this function and will shape the HR Department for years to come.
This is a busy, fast-paced food manufacturer that employs a large number of staff, so you can imagine how crucial the HR function is to this business. Experience of dealing with Unions would be advantageous for this opportunity. This isn't a hand holding role, this is an opportunity to put your stamp on this business.
