Any good at piecing together jigsaw puzzles?

Taking a product to launch is a lot like doing a jigsaw if you think about it. The Chefs come up with one piece when they design the new product in the kitchen, the Buyers are another piece and I think you're starting to get the picture. As a Process Technologist you are the one that puts all of these pieces together, you ensure the blue sky ideas are realistic and , you let the Buyer know what and how much they need to buy and when you need it for and just generally ensure that, that product makes it to the shelves at the right time (without shaving too many pieces).

Let's talk about the specifics, this business is category leading and for good reason. So, what do they want from you? Food related qualification and/or a good amount of Food Industry experience but that should be obvious, however, your experience will preferably be in Bakery or Desserts. Other than that it's all about your ability to present, communicate and engage amongst the team. They have high expectations and results are very important but at the end of the day, that's what makes a business successful.
