Are you excited at the opportunity to build a brand new department up from scratch?
Teaching is such an interesting profession. With the development of technology and the internet anyone can find any information they need simply with a few clicks. So, if we live in an age with an abundance of knowledge why do we need teachers?
Well, teachers do much more than just impart knowledge, they inspire, engage and help to improve soft skills that make students well-rounded people and ready for the big bad world. But teachers, like any profession need direction, whether that is being told what to teach or just a little advice on how to deal with a tricky student. And that is where you come in....
You don't have to have come from a lecturing or teaching background, if you have experience of working in an educational facility that would be beneficial. But, as long as you can show that you are able to develop and implement training programmes within a Food & Beverage environment then this role could be for you.
You have the opportunity to make a real difference here. The establishment in question is looking to open a brand new food and drink facility which will be used to help prepare young aspiring food professionals for the careers ahead of them. They are only hoping to have some commercial benefits from this; they want to engage with surrounding businesses to get them in and interacting with the students. This will be the first year that this establishment has taught a Food course and they want to ensure it is the best it can be so that years down the line the food industry, which plays such a huge part in our daily lives, can continue to thrive and innovate as more and more challenges arise.
