A position has just become available working for an extremely passionate business which is dedicated to producing only the finest and highest quality products which are supplied to high end clients.
This is a hands-on role where you will produce mixes and glazes, weigh goods for recipe batches, ensure all relevant paperwork is completed, monitor Production Assistants to maintain quality standards, motivate the team to maintain efficiency, label and store goods correctly, assist with the efficient running of the section, liaise with the development team on the standard of products for new menus plus carry out basic training with Kitchen Assistants.
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a clear passion and skill and innovative flair in patisserie, pastry, desserts etc. in order to create top quality products for high profile clients. The role would suit an individual with practical experience within production, cruise ships, restaurant/hotel or similar environment. You will also have high attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and an NVQ level 3/4 in patisserie is desirable.
The Senior Chef de Partie (Pastry) job is based in London region and is paying £28,000 - £29,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm.
